Another GROWING season at Manchester Community College
MCC Farmers’…Read More Market begins: Wed. June 19, 1:00–5:15pm/Manchester Bicentennial Band Shell.
Manchester Community College again reaffirms its commitment to local farmers, growers, vendors, and gardeners with programs that provide important connections for those who live in our surrounding communities.
The Farmers’ Market this year will feature outstanding farmers and vendors providing: local, and farm fresh vegetables and produce, fruits, herbs, baked goods (w/gluten free options), dairy products, maple syrup and more!
Also, look for handmade and artisan crafted jewelry, dried florals, soaps and lotions.
The Outdoor Café will have fresh salads and pizza slices made with local, farm fresh ingredients.
Music-at-the-Market every week, beginning with Stephen Prout playing traditional Celtic Music.
Events-at-the-Market will include:
Yoga and relaxation sessions
Health and Wellness awareness and information packets Healthy food preparation and recipe demos

Join nearly 750 people who will join the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network for a 5K walk and timed…Read More run to raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer, the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the United States, on Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Meriden's Hubbard Park. All those who would like to join in the fight against pancreatic cancer are invited to either walk, run or timed run at this family-friendly event.
