Glastonbury Man Named Arthritis Walk Co-Chair

The Arthritis Foundation New England Region has named Chris Aroh, partner at CohnReznick LLP, co-chair of the 2014 Greater Hartford Walk to Cure Arthritis.

As Co-Chair, Aroh will provide leadership in helping the Greater Hartford Walk to Cure Arthritis reach its fundraising goal of $104,580. 

Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s largest annual fundraising event, with local events hosted by approximately 115 cities nationwide.

Funds raised through the event support Arthritis Foundation programs, research, and advocacy initiatives to help people live better today while finding a cure for the number one cause of disability in the United States tomorrow.

Aroh, a long-time Arthritis Foundation advocate and volunteer and a resident of Glastonbury, was chosen as co-chair because of his strong leadership skills, passion for helping others, and dedication to removing the burden of arthritis from the Greater Hartford community. Chris Aroh is the vice President of the Arthritis Foundation Greater Hartford Regional Council

“Arthritis is a costly, painful and debilitating disease that affects millions of Americans,” Aroh said. “By participating in and raising funds for the Greater Hartford Walk to Cure Arthritis, the local businesses and organizations will help us successfully reach our goal of raising $104,580 to remove the burden of arthritis entirely by bringing us closer to a cure.”
