Something for Everyone: From the Antique Connoisseur to the Picker to the Casual Vintage Collector

The highly anticipated Historical Society of Glastonbury’s 40th Annual Antiques and Vintage Collectibles Show on the Green will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 - rain or shine. On the historic Hubbard Green, you’ll find a sprawling array of fresh to the market “attic heirlooms” such as 18th & 19th century antique furniture, clocks, pottery, china, glassware, bottles, jewelry, sterling silver, vintage games and toys, artwork, hand sewn quilts, hard to find home décor, pop collectibles, vintage items and “lots” more. This show has steadily attained a positive reputation among dealers and serious collectors as a source for high quality, and new-to-the-market antiques and collectibles. Over 60 dealers are already signed up for the 40th Annual Antiques and Vintage Collectibles Show on the Green. This annual event has something for everyone: from the antique connoisseur to the picker to the casual vintage collector. This is a great opportunity to discover unique home décor or gifts for any occasion, start a collection or enhance a current one. The Historical Society of Glastonbury is a non-profit organization and this annual vintage and collectible show is one of their biggest fundraisers.

All funding goes towards the Society’s educational programs and preservation projects.

This event is rain or shine and admission is $4. The Hubbard Green is located on the corner of Main and Hubbard Streets in Glastonbury, Connecticut. There is plenty of free parking with handicapped parking available on the Green and general parking on Main Street (two minutes walking distance).
