Glastonbury Salon Accepting Donations of Pet Items for Local Shelters

The Emily Rose Style Group, 36 Welles St. in Glastonbury, is looking for pet items to donate to local shelters.

 

The Emily Rose Style Group is collecting items for pets waiting to be adopted at local animal shelters in East Hartford and Hartford, opening the salon doors to accept donations.

The owner of the salon at 36 Welles St., Emily Balducci, is providing a location in Glastonbury for residents and customers to donate items for pets, including dog and cat food and treats, pet toys and tennis balls, dog bedding, and collars, leashes and harnesses. The items will be donated to East Hartford's Protectors of Animals and the Hartford Animal Shelter.

Anyone who makes a donation will be entered to win a complimentary cut and blow dry at the salon in December. The donations will run through Dec. 1.
