NBC Show Starring Glastonbury Boy to Debut in February 2014

The 11-year-old showbiz star Eli Baker made local headlines after landing a role on "Family Guide," now renamed "Growing Up Fisher."

Eli Baker, a student at Lamb Studios in South Windsor, gained attention earlier this year after his family announced he was appearing on an NBC television show called "Family Guide."

Now Baker, who is back in his hometown of Glastonbury this week, will be debuting on a television near you in February 2014.

The Hartford Courant reported that the Glastonbury 11-year-old is promoting the show this week, which was renamed "Growing Up Fisher." The homepage of the website for the show depicts Baker sitting next to the other stars of the cast.

Known for his skills in music, Baker told the Courant he always wanted to sing and dance since he was two years old. 

"It has always been a big part of my life," Baker told the newspaper.
