Glastonbury History as Told by Residents

Longtime Glastonbury residents share stories about what life was like when they were young.

Roll out the red carpet. Thursday, October 18, 2012, is the world premiere of a special video project by Glastonbury Girl Scout Troop 10807.

The eighth grade girls videotaped seven longtime Glastonbury residents talking about what life was like when they were young. The oral history project was a joint effort by the Girl Scouts, the Glastonbury Historical Society and the Glastonbury Senior Center. The interviews cover topics ranging from family and school life to recreation, historical events and natural disasters.
