CHARLESTOWN REAL ESTATE REPORT 2/21/14

The Charlestown Real Estate Market Report is a monthly statement of the median sales price for homes, the number of sales, the average price per square foot for homes, the number of homes for sale, and the average listing price of Charlestown homes for sale.

According to Trulia.com, the median sales price for homes in Charlestown RI for Nov 13 to Feb 14 was $245,000.

This represents a decline of 13.6%, or $38,500, compared to the prior quarter and a decrease of 14% compared to the prior year. 


Sales prices have appreciated 2.1% over the last 5 years in Charlestown. 


The average listing price for Charlestown homes for sale on Trulia was $668,727 for the week ending Feb 12, which represents a decline of 0.3%, or $2,274, compared to the prior week and an increase of 3.8%, or $24,432, compared to the week ending Jan 22. 

Average price per square foot for Charlestown RI was $291, a decrease of 6.4% compared to the same period last year.
