38th Annual Apple Harvest Festival Poster Unveiled

The new design was unveiled at a special event hosted by Rockville Bank in South Glastonbury.

The new face of the 38th Annual Glastonbury Apple Harvest Festival was unveiled recently at a special event hosted by Rockville Bank in South Glastonbury.

The Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce, who hosts the festival, held an unveiling of this year’s poster, designed by Brian Curran of Marlborough. The poster will appear in retail shops and gathering places all over town in an effort to promote the Apple Harvest Festival.

Curran’s design was chosen as this year’s winning poster from over a dozen entries. Curran, 38, has been attending local festivals and art shows in Glastonbury for years, and was inspired to enter a design upon realizing he shared the same age as the festival, according to the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce.

Prints of the poster are now on sale at the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce and will be available for purchase at Chamber’s Pie Booth at the Festival.  For more information, contact the Glastonbury Chamber at (860) 659-3587 or visit them on line at www.glastonburychamber.com.

The Apple Harvest Festival will take place at Oct. 13 and 14.
