Chanukah in Candyland Tonight at the Benet Rothstein Chabad Jewish Center

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Benet Rothstein Chabad Jewish Center in Glastonbury.

 

It’s “Chanukah in Candyland” tonight as the Benet Rothstein Chabad Jewish Center hosts community celebration to honor the first night of Chanukah.

Beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the center, located at 25 Harris St., all members of the community are invited to take part in “Chanukah in Candyland,” a holiday event based on the popular children’s board game “Candlyand.”

The event includes a giant jellybean Menorah, and attendees can follow things like “Cocoa Hunt”, “Rainbow Trail,” and “Lollipop Woods.” Participants will search for different Chanukah items like bottles of oils and dreidels.

The event will also feature fresh hot latkes and kosher popcorn, as well as a doughnut decorating station.
