The town will begin offering free pickup basketball games at the brand new gym at the Glastonbury-East Hartford Elementary Magnet School later this month.
Starting on Nov. 26, the Glastonbury Parks and Recreation Department is hosting open gym for all teens in grades 9 through 12 in the GEMS gynmnasium. The program is free of charge, but is only open to Glastonbury teens. Participants will be able to play pickup basketball games from 7:30-9:30 p.m., and must bring a valid school ID.
