Glastonbury Ukulele Band Hosting Sing-a-long at Riverfront Community Center

Join the fun at a Glastonbury Ukulele Big Sing on Saturday, Jan. 26.

 

The Glastonbury Ukulele Band, led by Dr. Jim Rosokoff (a.k.a. “Dr. Uke”), is holding a ukulele sing-a-long at the Riverfront Community Center next Saturday.

On Jan. 26 from noon to 1 p.m., residents are invited to the Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles St., to join Dr. Uke and the Glastonbury Ukulele Band for a sing-a-long. The songs will be projected onto the community center’s big screen so that you can follow along!

The Glastonbury Ukulele Band consists of “ukers” from Glastonbury and surrounding towns led by Dr. Uke, a retired Glastonbury dermatologist, according to their website. They have accompanied a monthly community sing-a-long in Glastonbury for the past several years.

Saturday’s event is free to the public.
