Pictures of Glastonbury: Forgotten Baseball at the Old Cider Mill

Glastonbury Patch's Photo of the Week for Feb. 1, 2012.

Everyone enjoying this warm snap?  Is that a thing?  A warm snap?  Anyways, the recently dumped snow has melted away and the streams around town are flowing swiftly with runoff.  The warmer weather is providing foggy mornings, and wet walks.

What it’s also providing is a great excuse for some outdoor activity—a stark contrast to last week’s Picture of Glastonbury, where the 16-degree weather that iced over the Connecticut River.

This week’s photo comes from a suggestion by Dana Flanagan on the Glastonbury Patch Facebook Page, who suggested photos of the historic Old Cider Mill.

While I was there, I noticed a worn baseball lying in the parking lot just in front of it, a sign of someone's recent outdoor fun.
