Healing Tibetan Singing Bowls

Singing bowls have been widely
used since the ancient time in Nepal and Tibet mostly by the Buddhist
monks for mediation. Singing bowls, when tapped, hit or rubbed with a
wooden mallet or dowl, produces soothing vibrations and sounds that will
almost instantly calm our nervous system and put us into a meditative
or neutral state of mind which itself conducive to mediation.  All of
which combined will relieve all forms of stress.  Singing bowls are used
for medical cures and treatments through applied sound therapy and
massage which serve as a basis for holistic healing.  These bowls
instill a sense of very deep relaxation and the experience of "inner
space opening up".  Even the act of listening to the sound of a singing
bowl stops one's internal dialogue, making the bowls and excellent tool
for meditation, centering and inducing shamanic trance states.
