St Luke's Church Blessing of the Fields Sunday June 1st

On Sunday, June 1st  at 10:00 am, St. Luke’s Church will conduct a special outdoor worship service called BLESSING OF THE FIELDS.  “Blessing of the Fields” is an ancient tradition in the church to celebrate life and honor the farmers who grow the food that sustains us all.  The day’s activities will begin at 10:00 am at a farm in South Glastonbury, with a musical worship service and celebration of the Eucharist. Then everyone will visit various farms throughout South Glastonbury to visit and bless the fields.
