Pet-Friendly Sunday Service at St. Luke's in South Glastonbury

St. Luke's Episcopal Church is holding their annual Blessing of the Animals service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Bring your dogs, cats, and fish for a special blessing in honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi at St. Luke's Episcopal Church at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

The annual Blessing of the Animals service is open to pet owners and animals big and small, furry and scaly. This year's service will be held in the undercroft of the church, which is a pet-friendly environment.

The service takes place each year on the Sunday closest to the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. This year the feast is on Thursday, Oct. 4.

Refreshments will be served after the service.
