After Chase, Bloomfield Man Busted on Drug Charges in Glastonbury
Javon Loney, 23, fled as officers closed in then engaged Glastonbury Police in a car chase before being apprehended, according to police.
A release from the East Central Narcotics Task Force:
On 12/06/13 members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force conducted a buy/bust operation on a crack cocaine dealer operating in the town of Glastonbury.
The operation was conducted in the parking lot of the Salem Court Apartment Complex (Griswold Street.) in Glastonbury on a crack cocaine dealer going by the name “Show.” When approached by Task force members “Show” fled the area in a reckless manner and engaged the Glastonbury Police in pursuit.

Through this investigation it was learned that “Show’s” full identity was Javon Loney. Loney was taken into custody at GA-19 on 12/10/13 on charges stemming from his crack cocaine sales and fleeing the police. Task force members also arrested the owner of the vehicle Loney used to flee from the police in; she was identified through this investigation as Ivori Harrison.
Task force members seized 4 grams of crack, and a Nissan Maxima. Taskforce members also served two separate arrest warrants both for Loney charging him with Sale and Possession of crack cocaine for incidents on an earlier date.

The East Central Narcotics Task Force, in cooperation with other municipal, and federal law enforcement agencies, is interested in stopping illegal narcotics sales and use in the Manchester, South Windsor, Vernon, and Glastonbury communities.
