A local 20-year-old man was arrested Monday after a regional narcotics task force said they found evidence of a drug factory at his Chalker Hill Road home.
Michael McIntire, 20, of 1752 Chalker Hill Road in Glastonbury, was arrested Monday on charges of operating a drug factory, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force received information that narcotic activity was occurring a the Chalker Hill Road residence, and conducted an investigation, according to Sgt. Anthony Palombizio.
The investigation led officers to obtain a search warrant, and task force members searched the home Monday. Officers seized four ounces of marijuana, scales, packaging, a shotgun and other drug paraphernalia, Palombizio said.
McIntire was arrested without incident, and held in lieu of $25,000 bond for appearance in Manchester Superior Court today.
