Glastonbury Police Blotter: Drugs and "Alarming Words"

Glastonbury arrests for Sept. 11-13.

 

released the following information on arrests and infractions. Inclusion on this list does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 13

Zachary S. Alexander 22, of 469 East St. in New Britain, was arrested at 10:25 p.m.  after police received a report of a suspicious vehicle on Goodale Hill Road. Police investigated and found that Alexander was operating the vehicle under suspension, was in possession of marijuana, and had 5 capsules of Ecstasy.  He was charged with possession of Ecstasy, possession of Ecstasy with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and operation under suspension. He was held in lieu of $50,000 bond, and was due to be arraigned in Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 14.

Yelder L. Tarrance, 26, of Birmingham, Ala., was arrested for soliciting without a permit after police responded to Heywood Drive for a report of a male soliciting. Yelden had previously warned by police not to solicit without a permit.

Kenneth Cunningham, 45, of 80 House St., Apt. D9, was arrested for second-degree breach of peace after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at 26 Hubbard Run. An investigation revealed that Cunningham was arguing with his girlfriend when he used “vulgarities and alarming words” towards a neighbor who was attempting to prevent the argument from escalating, according to police.
