Glastonbury Police Blotter: July 19 - July 26

Glastonbury police released the following information on arrests and infractions. Inclusion on this list does not indicate a conviction.

July 25

Anibal Gonzales, 54, of 28 Putnam St., Hartford, was arrested on a warrant charging him with first-degree failure to appear.  The original charge stems from a narcotics arrest. He was held in lieu of $10,000 bond for appearance in Superior Court.

John Inkel, 48, of 17 Arapaho Drive, East Hartford, turned himself in on a warrant for violation of probation. The violation stem from an initial charge of second-degree sexual assault. He was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and was due in court on July 26.

July 19

Anthony DeLano, 23, of 50C Nanel Drive, Glastonbury, was arrested on charges of second-degree breach of peace and possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana after Glastonbury officers responded to the One Stop Shopping Plaza for a report of an out-of-control male causing a scene. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and is due in court on Aug. 7.

Juan Villamizar, 49, of 810 Neipsic Road, Glastonbury, was arrested on charges of risk of injury to a minor, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after the Department of Children and Families reported a possible domestic assault that occurred the previous day. An investigation led police to issue a warrant for Villamizar, who turned himself without incident. He was held in lieu of $75,000 bond on July 19.

July 18

Dane Tilley, 30, currently being held in Hartford Correctional Center, was arrested at court on a warrant charging him with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny.  The warrant stems from an extensive police investigation into a series of residential burglaries during November 2012 and January 2013.  Police say Tilley, as well as several other accomplices, burglarized dozens of homes in the Hartford area, as well as several Glastonbury homes.  The most recent charges stem from a break-in at a Matson Hill Road home in November 2012. He was held in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Gina Johnson, 45, of 102 Landers Road, East Hartford, turned herself in on a warrant charging her with second-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit second-degree forgery, possession of narcotics, conspiracy to possess narcotics, obtaining a narcotic substance by fraud and conspiracy to obtain a narcotic substance by fraud. The warrant stems from an investigation into a complaint that she and an accomplice had passed stolen/forged prescriptions at a local pharmacy for oxycodone.  She was released on $10,000 non-surety bond and is due in court on July 31.

Kala Williams, 37, of 23 Chapel St., East Hartford, was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics and possession of cannabis after police received a report of a suspicious vehicle driving around the Salem Court apartments at 11:43 p.m. The vehicle was located, and after a brief investigation Williams was arrested on narcotics charges.
