Glastonbury Police Blotter: Morning Jogger Fights With Car, Driver

Glastonbury arrests for Sept. 7-10.

 

released the following information on arrests and infractions. Inclusion on this list does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 8

Kevin Davila, 18, of 24 Cobbs Mill Lane in Glastonbury, and Kimberly Perez, 19, of 46 Shultas Place in Hartford, were both arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct following a domestic dispute that occurred in Davila’s home at 4:56 p.m.  They were each released on a written promise to appear, and were due to be arraigned Sept. 10 in Manchester Superior Court.

Kelly Ann Curran, 45, of 204 Pratt St., Apt. C in Glastonbury, was arrested at 8:47 a.m. on charges of third-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct after a police investigation determined that she injured her boyfriend after an argument.  She was released on $5,000 surety bond, and was due to be arraigned Sept. 10 in Manchester Superior Court.

Samet Dy, 41, of 529 Thompson St. in Glastonbury, was arrested on charges of second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace after police say he was jogging on Weir St. and punched the side mirror of a vehicle as it passed him.  The driver of the vehicle then stopped and a fight ensued. During the fight, Dy struck the driver in the face.  Dy was released on a written promise to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 26.

Sept. 7

Hanisha Rai, 21, of 167 Talcott Ridge Road in South Windsor, was arrested by Vernon Police after confirming that she had an active warrant for her arrest from the Glastonbury Police Department for charges of sixth-degree larceny and third-degree forgery.  The warrant was issued after police say Rai cashed forged checks. She was held in lieu of $10,000 bond, and was due to be arraigned in Manchester Superior Court.
