The Glastonbury Police Department is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect that entered a Thompson St. home and tied up the elderly residents.
The Glastonbury Police Department is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect involved in a home invasion in town last week.
police say a say an armed man broke into a Thompson Street home and tied up the occupants by their hands and feet. He threatened the elderly occupants with a gun, police said, and stole approximately $100,000 in high end jewelry, Rolex watches and cash.

The victim broke the 71-year-old woman’s arm during the ordeal. She was later transported to Middlesex Hospital Marlborough Medical Center for treatment. The 69-year-old man was not injured.
The man was believed to be African American or Hispanic, approximately 5’9” or 5’10”, with a medium build. He was wearing all black clothing and a mask, and carrying a handgun.

Witnesses described a small sedan-type car driving slowly past the house several times, and that it eventually parked in front of the Thompson St. home during the incident.
