PD: Bomb Squad Investigates Suspicious Package at Glastonbury Staples
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious packaged delivered to the office supply store.
Glastonbury officers and members of the Hartford Police Bomb Squad responded to the Glastonbury Staples Thursday afternoon after police received a report of a suspicious package.
The caller reported that the Staples store received a suspicious package, prompting the Glastonbury Police Department to respond to the area as a precaution. Officers with the Hartford Police Bomb Squad checked the packaged, police said.
Officers determined that the packaged was a delivery error and the scene was cleared.
