PD: Glastonbury Man Arrested for Growing Marijuana

A man was arrested Tuesday after police say they seized marijuana from his Ladyslipper Lane home.

A Ladyslipper Lane man was arrested Tuesday after a local narcotics task force searched his home and say they found a marijuana grow operation at the home.

On Tuesday, members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant on 69 Ladyslipper Lane after officers had developed information that there was a marijuana grow operation taking place there. The warrant was obtained following an investigation by task force officers.

During the search, police say they seized marijuana plants, growing equipment (ballasts, lights, timers, etc.), 1.5 pounds of harvested marijuana, and other drug paraphernalia.

The resident, Michael Petriello, 29, of 69 Ladyslipper Lane, Glastonbury, was arrested on charges of cultivation of marijuana, possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a drug factory.

He was released on $10,000 non-surety bond for presentation in Manchester Superior Court.
