Police: Couple Sold Heroin At Glastonbury Burger King

Roberto Colon and Nancy Diaz, both of East Hartford, are facing charges for allegedly selling drugs in the parking lot of the Glastonbury Burger King.

An East Haven couple was arrested this afternoon after police allege they sold heroin in the parking lot of the Glastonbury Burger King.

According to a press release, the East Central Narcotics Task Force conducted a "buy/bust operation" today in the parking lot of the Burger King restaurant on Main Street in Glastonbury. According to police, Robert Colon, 36, of East Hartford, allegedly sold heroin in the parking lot and then was immediately taken into custody. Additionally, 44-year-old Nancy Diaz, also of East Hartford, was taken into custody as she drove Colon to the Burger King, according to police.

Colon and Diaz have both been charged with the sale and possession of heroin. Colon, who police said has an "extensive criminal history in Connecticut," was held on a $200,000 surety bond and Diaz was held on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

Along with the arrest, the East Central Narcotics Task Force seized 1.4 grams of heroin and a 2005 Chevy Tahoe from the scene. The East Central Narcotics Task Force serves the towns of Manchester, South Windsor and Glastonbury.
