Police: Glastonbury Man Kicked Girlfriend in Stomach, Fled Arrest

Police say the Salem Court resident was involved in a domestic assault with his girlfriend.

A Glastonbury man was arrested Wednesday night after police say he assaulted his girlfriend during a domestic dispute Monday, then fled the scene to avoid arrest.

David Turcotte, 29, of 37a Salem Court, Glastonbury, was arrested on charges of risk of injury, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree breach of peace.

Police say that Turcotte was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend on Monday. During the dispute he kicked her in the stomach and punched her in the head, police said.

Turcotte then fled the scene to avoid arrest, police said.

He was held in lieu of $25,000 bond for appearance in Manchester Superior Court on July 18.
