The Glastonbury Police Department is asking for the public’s help investigating an armed robbery that took place Wednesday night at the Main St. Mobil station.
Police say that at 7:19 p.m. a man in a dark hooded sweatshirt and mask entered the gas station at 2952 Main St. in Glastonbury and waved a handgun at the station attendant, according to Sgt. Richard McKeon.
The attendant handed over an undetermined amount of money and the suspect fled southbound on Main St. Witnesses say he may have fled to a parked vehicle nearby.
The suspect was described as wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a mask, gloves, blue jeans and white sneakers.
