Police: Man Sold Crack on Brewster Road in Glastonbury

A suspected crack cocaine dealer named "Ty" was arrested by a regional narcotics task force Monday.

A Hartford man was arrested Monday on charges that he sold crack cocaine on Brewster Road in Glastonbury.

Officers with the East Central Narcotics Task Force conducted a buy/bust operation near Brewster Road in Glastonbury after officers received information that a crack cocaine dealer known as “Ty” would be selling in the area, according to a report from Sgt. Anthony Palombizio.

Officers took Ty into custody after police say he sold crack to an undercover officer, and task force members seized 1.6 grams of crack cocaine and a Mercury Mountaineer. Ty was identified as 33-year-old Tyrell Ellis of 26 Seyms St., Apt. B2, of Hartford.

He was charged with possession and sale of cocaine and was held in lieu of $150,000 bond.
