Police Seize 39 Bags Of Heroin At Glastonbury Dunkin' Donuts

Two people from Hartford were arrested for allegedly selling heroin in Glastonbury.

A press release from the East Central Narcotics Task Force:

Tuesday, members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force conducted a buy/bust operation on a heroin dealer operating in the town of Glastonbury. 

East Central Narcotics Task Force conducted a buy/bust operation in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts in Glastonbury on a heroin dealer going by the name “Flaco.” “Flaco’s” full identity was learned to be Lee Roy Ferrer when he was taken into custody after a heroin sale. Task force members also arrested Ferrer’s accomplice, later identified as Moises Melendez during the operation.

Task force members seized 39 bags of heroin, and a Mazda RX-7. Task force members will also be applying for three separate arrest warrants for Ferrer charging him with Sale/Possession of Heroin and Conspiracy to Possess/Sell Heroin.

The operation led to the arrest of Lee Roy Ferrer, 23, of 24 Carpenter St, Hartford, who was charged with possession of heroin and sale of heroin, and Moises Melendez, 23, of 59 Madison Ave, Hartford, who was charged with conspiracy to possess heroin and conspiracy to sell heroin.
