Two individuals were arrested Tuesday night after members of a regional narcotics task force conducted a buy/bust operation targeting a known crack cocaine dealer known as “Blessed.”
Task force officers developed information that “Blessed”—identified as Robert Lee Davis, 28, of Hartford—would be selling crack cocaine in the parking lot outside of the , Sgt. Anthony Palombizio of the ECN Task Force said.
Palombizio said that Davis sold crack cocaine to an undercover officer as part of the operation, and was taken into custody without incident. The driver of the car Davis arrived in—Tania Horne, 37, of Hartford—was also arrested without incident.
Task force officers seized approximately two grams of crack cocaine, $642 in cash and a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am as part of the bust.
Davis has a history of arrests in the state, including sale of narcotics and weapons charges, and is currently on probation. He was charged with possession and sale of cocaine. He was held in lieu of $200,000 bond, and is due to be arraigned in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, Aug. 1.
Police will also be applying for two separate arrest warrants for Davis charging him with additional counts of sale and possession of cocaine, Palombizio said.
Horne was charged with possession and sale of cocaine, and released on $10,000 non-surety bond.
