Police: Teens Arrested For Letting Glastonbury Girl Drive Drunk

Two teenagers were charged today following the drunk driving death of Glastonbury's Jane Modlesky.

Two Glastonbury teenagers were arrested today for allegedly allowing an extremely drunk 17-year-old girl to drive a car, which she later crashed and died.

On July 14, 17-year-old Glastonbury High student Jane Modlesky – who's blood alcohol level was 13 times over the legal limit – crashed a 2008 Honda Pilot into a tree on Woodhaven Road and died. Today, WFSB reports that two teenagers were charged with second-degree reckless endangerment after they allegedly allowed Modlesky to drive.

The two teenagers allegedly drove the Pilot to one of their homes with Modlsey as a passenger, go out, and then allowed Modlseky to drive home, according to WFSB. She crashed the car and died about a half-mile from that home, according to the news site.
