Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Home Depot Parking Lot

The East Hartford men were both charged with possession and sale of cocaine.

A release from the East Central Narcotics Task Force:

Members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force conducted a buy/bust operation on a crack cocaine dealer operating in the town of Glastonbury.

On 12/11/13, members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force conducted a buy/bust operation in the parking lot of Home Depot (115 Putnam Blvd.) in Glastonbury on a crack cocaine dealer going by the name “Black.”

“Black’s” full identity was learned to be Charles Jackson when he was taken into custody after arriving in the parking lot in an 2004 Toyota Highlander with the intent of selling of crack cocaine. Black was taken into custody without incident.

Taskforce members also arrested the driver of the vehicle, identified as Dadrian Morgan during the operation. Taskforce members seized 0.9 grams of crack cocaine and a 2004 Toyota Highlander. 

Taskforce members will also be applying for two separate arrest warrants for Jackson charging them with Sale and Possession of cocaine. Morgan was also found to have an active re-arrest warrant for Failure to Appear 2nd out of East Hartford on motor vehicle charges.

Charges: Possession of Cocaine, Sale of Cocaine
Bond: $210,000 surety (Also P.R.A.W.N warrant for Failure to Appear 2nd

The East Central Narcotics Task Force, in cooperation with other municipal 
and federal law enforcement agencies, is interested in stopping illegal narcotics 
sales and use in the Manchester, South Windsor, Vernon, and Glastonbury
