Two Teens Arrested for Damage at Hopewell Elementary School

They allegedly damaged the parking lot and basketball court.

Two teens allegedly went back to elementary school Sunday night - and landed themselves with more than just a detention.

Glastonbury police say they responded to a call at 8:15 p.m. Sunday evening that a car was doing donuts in the parking lot of Hopewell Elementary School, The Courant reports.

The reckless driving left tire marks on the parking lot and the basketball court. 19-year-old Scott Schaffman of 44 Starview Drive and a 16-year-old were arrested for the damage, the police told The Courant.
