So what did one plow driver do to the other?
Vernon police found out it was no joking manner on Saturday when they responded to a fracas between two operators at the Tri-City Plaza parking lot just before 7 p.m.
According to an arrest report, the incident started when two plow drivers from the same company began arguing over gasoline for their respective trucks.
One plow driver, operating a larger truck, pushed "a mountain of snow" over a smaller truck, which was being driven by his co-worker, police said.
The driver of the smaller truck then punched the driver of the larger truck in the head and face. Police then arrested him for second-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, carrying a dangerous weapon and second-degree threatening, an incident report indicated.
Police did not elaborate on the weapon.
He was identified as George Lindinger, 47, of 103 Hickory Drive, Coventry. He spent the rest of the weekend in the Vernon Police Department lockup on a $5,000 bond and is due in court on Monday, police said.
