Just a Couple Weeks Away — Glastonbury Tax Bill Deadline

To avoid penalties town tax bills are due Aug. 1.

Town residents have a little more than two weeks left to pay their annual tax bills without penalty.

Tax bills were mailed out June 30 and were technically due July 1. However, residents have until Aug. 1, to pay without interest. This year, on July 1, the town imposed an additional $3 fee that will be added to each delinquent motor vehicle bill.

The new mill rate for 2013 grand list billing is $35.65.
