The school's mission statement was last updated in 2006.

Glastonbury High School has a new mission statement for the 2013-14 school year, one that will help the school define what they want a Glastonbury graduate to look like in the 21st century.

The new mission statement was created by a group of high school teachers and administrators, headed by Principal Nancy Bean who started in the position this past school year.

The mission statement, which begins when students return to school next month, reads: “Glastonbury High School inspires curiosity, cultivates learning and empowers students to shape their lives and our world.”
