This program is for any student who is 14 or 15 years old. It is designed for campers who would like to learn more about the responsibilities and enjoyment of being a camp counselor. While concentrating on developing into leaders, they will incorporate the YMCA's four character values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility into their everyday lives. They will be required to attend all MANDATORY staff trainings.
Sessions are a week long and run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Sessions are offered all summer. The last one ends on August 24, 2012.
The cost is $100/week. (Note: There is no camp on July 4. Campers who attend that week only have to pay $80.) Financial assistance is available.
