The Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce is launching a new volleyball league next spring.
The new league will consist of six teams of six players apiece, plus two alternates to round out the teams. There will be six players on each team plus two alternates for a total of eight players. Teams can have more than two alternates if they wish.
The league will run for eight weeks on Tuesday evenings beginning April 2, and take place in the Hebron Avenue Elementary School gym in Glastonbury at 7 p.m.
Those interested in putting together—or being part of—a team should contact the Chamber of Commerce at (860)659-3587. Each team will pay $360 or $40 per player; payments are due to the chamber no later than Feb. 15.
