I recognize change isn't always easy and we all need to adapt to the times, but I'm disappointed inRead More the UCONN logo change. I think the "updated" husky is generic-looking and shows off little personality as a representation of the school. And the logo extends beyond just athletics - why then were only the student-athletes and coaches offered the opportunity for any input? Shouldn't the faculty and student body at large had a chance to contribute their thoughts? Thumbs down on this new "look". Better go grab some old-school Jonathan-wear off the bargain shelf before it's all gone. I'll cheer on the teams, but I won't want to wear the new stuff doing it.

Really? So they can start banning sports because of injuries.

One big issue is even though my child plays school sports she plays travel sports so an injury fromRead More travel might not be recorded as travel and go under school making the study wrong. Many children play outside of school how would they make sure they have proper data. Maybe they should document something that they can be sure that the info they use is correct.

@Sean, irrelevant, only because parents think their child is the next great athlete and are willingRead More to pay the thousands of dollars to get them a spot on a team. Typically many of those child athletes would have a difficult time making the HS team without Daddy's money.
