Why doesn't this poor soul or in her case non-soul get the ACLU to fight for her. Those uselessRead More dregs will fight against anything associated with a church. It is true that some church goers sometimes go overboard in espousing their beliefs. I, however cannot think of a church goer taking up a complaint to the Supreme Court like Michael Newdow of Sacramento did. Looks like for you who think that church goers take things to extremes, to me it looks like the Atheists do.

Do not wallow in my noise, but no surprise you are lost. Your 'need' before me, is not worthy ofRead More extralegal accommodation and tolerance will be shown when you open your ears. My values are intact(in tact?), and not threatened by your noise. Whether in Brandon, FL or here... I expect, you will gain no traction toward your cause. In fact, I do not believe your position as ringing true. Originally, I quipped in full truthfulness that "pump-up the volume" went a direction, that fleshed-out your narrowness. Again, truthfully... verily, I say unto you ~ I find off-key church bells a happy noise! In tolerance, I recognize you do not. Good luck and my hopes to you, to find a brand new pair of Bose noise-canceling headphones on your doorstep! You've already illustrated no liking for music, this accommodation can be useful for your silence. I appreciate the noise you have made. It is apparent, you have failed to negotiate properly. Thereby, may I make the suggestion that you are wholly non-qualified to engage Father Ortiz' further? The fact, you had a staving-off 'win' in the grown-up court system is only evidence of scope. There is no 'need' for me to agree or disagree with Father Ortiz' church or his position. None, of the noise you have made ~ has persuaded me from my original position stated... that it sounds like happy noise from Father Ortiz' church. My tolerance is boundless, until it is not.

David Parsons April 20, 2014 at 08:03 pm
You seem to be obsessed with car mileage. ...1: Gas is very expensive in Europe so they tend toRead More drive lighter cars with smaller engines. ...2: The USA has sticter emission standards that knock off about 10%. ...3: USA test cycles are more realistic and give lower mileage. ...4. The European inperial gallon is larger than the US gallon. This may cause confusion.

This is a really tragic story. It scares me. I work with several young people who put video gamesRead More ahead of their kids. They get the big earned income tax credit checks, buy game consoles, big screen tvs, games up the ying yang. Their kids get yard sale flip flops, wear torn under sized clothes. They give their kids cough syrup to put them to sleep and stay up playing games. I pray no of them would ever do this.

David Greenberg April 20, 2014 at 01:39 pm
So what you're saying william is that anyone who comes along and claims "PTSD",Read More "ABUSE", blah, blah blah should get a free pass? Why have laws then? The whole concept of making something a criminal act is that we want to discourage it from happening in the first place, by putting deterrents into effect. One such deterrent is PRISON, another is the Death Penalty. If this person was being abused, she had options BEFORE coming to this point - for whatever reason, she make a decision to kill someone, and a Jury of her peers determined her guilt. So off to jail she goes - hopefully FOREVER.

The more I think about it, the more disturb I get. Think about it. You go the supermarket. They wantRead More you to scan your own groceries. Bag your own groceries. They want you to put the money in the machine. Have they lowered the prices? No. Now when you go to fast food places they want you to do their job for them. Pour your own drinks. Put the soda machine behind the counter and do the work that you want the minimum wage increase for.

Hey, Tom Renzo ... I'll provide one answer to your 2 insulting postings directly above. AND RenzoRead More I'll make my comment without using the juvenile "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" and "LMAO!!!!!!!!" and "DOHHHHHHHHHHH" you use when you can't think of anything intelligent to post. From likely the SAME study you got your partial "facts" from, further down the complete article on the study clearly stated the following: "Unfortunately, many contemporary discussions rely on misinterpretations of cross-sectional data. The New York Times recently conducted a cross-sectional study of murder rates in states with and without the death penalty, and found that “Indeed, 10 of the 12 states without capital punishment have homicide rates below the national average, Federal Bureau of Investigation data shows, while half the states with the death penalty have homicide rates above the national average.” However, they erroneously concluded that the death penalty did not deter murder. The problem is that the states without the death penalty (Alaska, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Vermont) have long enjoyed relatively low murder rates, something that might well have more to do with other factors than the death penalty. Instead one must compare, over time, how murder rates change in the two groups – those adopting the death penalty and those that did not."
